Bishop D. Jake Jacob is founder and Prelate of New Beginnings Ministries International, Inc. located in Suffolk, England, United Kingdom with churches throughout the UK, Europe, Africa and Poland. He has over 40 years of practical experience as a Theologian, community leader, Civil Rights and youth advocate. His excitement and intensity in delivering “The Word of God” is straight forward that even a young child can understand. Through the working of the Holy Spirit, he has helped to revive ministries, restore Pastors, rebuild churches and renew the hearts and minds of Believers, as well as Non-Believers to a new level of faith and commitment to God.
In Sep 1982, Bishop Jacob joined Worlington Christian Church, Worlington, England where his walk with Christ took a complete change. After 3 years, he and his family moved to Holland, and God had even bigger changes for his life. God called him to the ministry in 1985. One year later, because of a vacancy, he was moved to Zaragoza AB, Spain where he was ordained Elder and made a Pastor. God ordained and flourished his ministry in several Pastoral capacities and locations, such as Aviano AB Italy, Anderson AB Guam, and Pope AFB, NC to name a few. Bishop Jacob retired from the Air Force but not Ministry after 24 years.
After the worldly military, God set him under the leadership and guidance of Bishop O.T. Johnson of Deliverance Temple Christian Center, for his Spiritual Military training where he was the Senior Assistant. In preparation for what GOD had in store for him, “The Office of Bishop”. Under the tutelage of Bishop Johnson, Bishop Jacob grew in wisdom and knowledge, until the day that Bishop Johnson gave him his blessings and told him to go to the United Kingdom where God had an even greater work in store for him. In 2007, Bishop Jacob started The Alconbury Gospel Service and later was installed Pastor of New Beginnings Church in Wangford, England. One year later, he was ordained as Bishop with four churches in his Diocese. That number has since grown to seven, adding the latest two in Africa and Poland. God is manifesting his abundance as He promised through our Pastor, Keith Butler in this Year of Manifestation. When Bishop Jacob was trying to slow down, God sent two more churches to be under his tutelage.
Bishop holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, A Master’s Degree in Leadership and a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling both from Liberty University Online.
On September 1, 1982, he was united in love with the most beautiful Lady Cheryl Jacob, who has and continues to work closely with him in all aspects of ministry. Their union flourished and brought to fruition two children (Calida Althea Malone, Danarius La’El Jacob) and two grandchildren (Miracle Malone, Michael Malone).
